Foothill and Glendale residents are invited to a night of country music featuring
Light On The Corner Church will present an evening of country music followed by a dessert of decadent dimensions. This free concert features four of southern California's leading professional musicians: Michael Hughes on piano, Lynn Woolever on bass, Darren Ross on drums and the incomparable Mark Carter on guitar. While Mark enjoys national acclaim for his smooth jazz recordings, he originally hails from Tulsa and he still loves reaching back into his musical roots to do some genuine country, old fashioned "guitar pickin".
Light on the Corner Church pastor, Jon Karn, says "Mark and the Boys have been with us for years. They offer convincing proof that God is indeed a music lover. We are truly blessed to have such fine musicians at our church every Sunday morning. We don't feel it's right to keep them to ourselves."
This free concert is the final offering in a four part concert series offered by the church.All are welcome.
